ABOUT

At TONEN agency we focus on interior and graphic design - and often as interplay rather than single elements. Our portfolio contains both private living spaces as well as public and scenograhic spaces. We create visual identities and concepts by bridging design, art and words.

Born from a collaboration between Malene Bech-Pedersen and Mette Bonavent - both Copenhagen-based designers - TONEN agency works directly with clients, and collaborates with a wide range of talented people; photographers, artists and craftsmen to make every project possible.

We explore and reflect on architecture, design, people, art and words, and are always looking for a contemporary and meaningful understanding of each project.

RESTAURANT DONNA

Restaurant Donna brings the essence of Italy to Copenhagen, inviting guests to indulge in cherished flavors and generous portions. With a vibrant and colorful interior, Donna is all about creating a festive atmosphere that extends from the dining rooms to the atrium courtyard.

KAKTUS TOWERS

The Kaktus Towers at Kalvebod Brygge in Copenhagen are designed by the internationally known architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group, BIG, and contain 495 youth homes plus common areas as well as a fitness center and a café.

TONENs interior design in the common spaces is comfortable, inviting and adaptable to different needs and situations.

STUDIO 41 PILATES

Studio 41 is an exclusive private Pilates studio. The studio offers state-of-the-art equipment in a beautiful environment where you can train safely with experts in classical Pilates.

RESTAURANT DELPHINE

Restaurant Delphine embraces mediterranean art and culture with inspired dishes from the Greek islands and southern Italy. The interior is bright and playfull, with geometric patterns, plastered walls and lots of daylight pouring in.

PRIVATE HOME

Interior design project for a family of five. Tonen managed the entire project, from conceptualizing the design to the final installation of furniture, lighting, curtains, art and accessories.

COCO HOTEL

Coco Hotel is best described as a small Parisian style hotel curated with a Danish sense of space and time. The interior is a bespoke mix between the modern and classic, vintage and new. Surrounding a green and serene courtyard, the hotel's 89 rooms are designed to make you feel welcome and comfortable whether you are staying for business or pleasure.

CAFÉ COCO

Café Coco is a chic oasis where guests and locals cross paths to enjoy a coffee, a drink or a light meal. With its lush courtyard nestled between the characteristic buildings of Copnehagen, Café Coco provides an attractive getaway from the bustling city.
